I extend a warm welcome to the members of the Royal Connaught Boat Club - Pune.
This is a moment of historic significance.
It has not
been an easy task to put up this website. The landmarks and events of
Club history spanning over time period going back to 19th century are
too many to have been meticulously documented over the years, as many
of these may have blurred out of existence over time and in fact may be
lost forever with passing away of the founder members & many more of our
old time members from the last century. Therefore creation of this site
is a humble step to provide you with a comprehensive insight into many
interesting and factual aspects of our Club. This is also in keeping with
the commitment to make optimum use of the available technology of 21st
century.
The information posted on our web site is quite exhaustive. I therefore call upon all of you to browse these pages either as pilgrimage to the history of the Club or for specific information about the Club or even for the need to access the facts & figures for future reference.
